Vigil: A Dark Comedy

VIGIL concluded its 49 performance run on Sunday, November 15th at the DR2 theater. Check out some great pictures from our closing celebration!

The show was wonderful! I don’t think either of us knew how delighted and moved we’d be after the show. The actors were amazing.

I really enjoyed Vigil. I was afraid I wasn’t going to get to see it. I was surprised at how funny the piece is. Malcolm was naturally funny at the beginning and grew to hilarious by the end. I’m sure everyone in the audience could relate to his character’s life in some way so his non-funny moments worked. He’s one of the few contemporary TV and film actors that work well on stage. Helen Stenborg was great, too. Her expressions were clear and funny with sass.
